PELIATAN – Painting Gallery

Ubud is a place where the world's painter found their inspiration to create a painting. You will see some of the world masterpiece from the famous artists in this museum that completes your tour with wonderful experience. The museum is design with Balinese architecture with the natural nature ambience surround it. You will see the amazing art on canvas created by the world class painter and masterpiece just at the Painting Museum. There are several painting museums available in Ubud which you will visit one of them.

MAS – Wood Carving
mas wood carvingAt the end of the 15th century, a holy Hindu high priest named Danghyang Nirartha (Ida Pedanda Sakti Bahu Rauh) came to Bali from Java and settled in this village. This priest gave the Balinese Hinduism the form to its current form, including its highly complicated offerings and spectacular cremation rituals. In the golden age of the Gelgel kingdom, he became the royal priest. And many temples are associated with his name as he made a long holy trip on foot through the island. Most of the family of this village are from Brahmana caste and they honor their ancestors in Pura Taman Pule which built upon the sight of the priests residence. Though "Mas" means gold, but this village is the center of woodcarving. Almost all the villagers are talented in carving wood. None of them is goldsmith. Some of the carvers specialize in making for the topeng (mask) and the other in garuda (gigantic bird).

CELUK – Gold & Silver Smith
celukAlthough many arts and crafts have prospered in Celuk, the village has evolved into a center for silver and gold smith. Almost every home in the village contains small scale production facilities fulfilling orders placed by large shops and exporters. Bracelets, rings, earrings and brooches, to name a few of range of products produced here, have started to enter the export market. The silver and gold craft trade was pierced by the Beratan clan of smiths (pande). Nowadays most Celuk residents, whether or not they are members of the pande clan, have become gold and silver smiths.

The truth is, nevertheless, that certain souls positively thrive in this labyrinth of boogie bars, beach bungalows, cassette shops and honky tonks all part of the Kuta lifestyle. What then is the magic that has transformed this sleepy fishing village overnight into an overcrowded tourist Mecca with no end in sight To its haphazard expansion. Before tourism came to the area, Kuta was one of the poorest places on Bali — plagued by poor soils, endemic malaria and a surf-wracked beach that provides little protection for shipping. In the early days, it nevertheless served as a port for the powerful southern Balinese kingdom of Bathing whose capital lay in what is now Denpasar.

ULUWATU - Magnificient Sunset above the ocean
uluwatu templeUluwatu Temple is one of Balinese Hindu Temple located in southern part of Bali right on the cliff bank with magnificent view of the Indian Ocean . It is very amazing that this temple is built on the narrow peninsula with crevasse under it. It own very beautiful view in particular of the sunset time. There are group of monkeys live around the temple that keep and protect the temple from the bed influence based on the local resident's believes. Jimbaran Bay
jimbaran bayJimbaran Bay located on the southern part of Ngurah Rai (Denpasar) International Airport. The beach has white sans. This is one of the fisherman village with own fish market, and Jimbaran is welknown with the beachside seafood restaurant and a nice place to see the sunset while enjoying the grilled seafood dinner.
